The Enticing opportunity

An old and rusted leaf wafts through air

An orange bulb is bathing the road

The last hawker is leaving for the day

As I ponder on the worthlessness of it all

I take a deep breath

And inhale the last oxygen

Just as the lion waits for its prey, I wait for mine

A faint sound is heard

The bus is coming with full speed

I see an enticing opportunity

To become the bus' prey

As the night swallows another day..
